Tech-firm Lex is pleased to add a cutting-edge range of Collaboration Displays manufactured by Sharp NEC Display Solutions Europe to their product offering.
The WD551 is a Microsoft Windows collaboration display that provides an integrated smart solution for modern meeting spaces, certified for Microsoft Teams. Offering maximum flexibility for hybrid working practices, enabling Bring Your Own Meeting (BYOM) scenarios – activated with just one secure USB-C cable to begin collaborating.
Two USB-C cables allow for collaboration to be switched between two users, while both connected devices receive a power supply. The WD551 is certified for Microsoft Teams providing excellent video and sound quality during meetings, it also allows for any application to be projected onto the crystal clear 55-inch touch screen display.
The latest PCAP touch technology and optically bonded glass are used for a superior natural writing experience, using either a finger or pen. The device also is compatible with Windows Ink, with the two active pens included in the pack – this along with palm rejection technology allows users to rest their hands on-screen without leaving unwanted marks.
The WD551 also used IoT sensors that collect telemetric data from its environment, such as room occupancy, temperature, ambient light level, and air quality. This will soon be compatible with the anticipated NEC Room Management Service, which will support smart building strategies.
